The family of slain Minneapolis man George Floyd arrived in Richmond to present a traveling “holographic” exhibit of their lost loved one. In addition the family spoke to those gathered to address law enforcement reform and racial justice.
The event was also attended by prominent civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump who is serving as legal counsel for the Floyd family.
The event was largely peaceful however local activist Chelsea Higgs-Wise disrupted the event and confronted Crump and questioned his motivations and integrity over not taking up the case of Marcus-David Peters.
