Candlelight Vigil In Front of Jefferson Hotel

Around a hundred people gathered in the early evening outside the Jefferson Hotel for a candlelight vigil for Marcus-David Peters and others who have died in clashes with law enforcement.

The interfaith event started on the 100 block of West Franklin Street around 8:30 PM before commencing on a sunset march to Interstate 95.

At around 9:50 PM participants stood in the grassy hill adjacent to the onramp where Peters died in the 2018 incident.
